Holistic Modalities
Tellington TTouch®
The Tellington TTouch Method is an extraordinarily brilliant way of working with animals. Its underlying philosophy is one of kindness, respect and compassion, using gentle ways to bring animals and also people back into balance. Using special touches on the surface of the skin, along with lifts and slides, TTouch body work has amazing effects on the central nervous system and has been scientifically tested.
It offers ways of working with your dog that foster deeper bonding and communication. It teaches guardians about the right equipment to use to help your dog stay balanced and uses what is called a “confidence course” to help shift your dog from insecurity and fear to confidence.

There are many articles and links to YouTube videos on the TTouch website. The innovative creator of this method, Linda Tellington-Jones, is a remarkable advocate for the health and well-being of animals all over the world. She has many wonderful blog posts. I encourage you to learn as much as you can about TTouch, attend a TTouch workshop, read books and watch videos or hire a Tellington TTouch practitioner. Your dog will thank you for it. Yahoo Group – Classical Homeopathy Pets
This is the sister group to “Truth about Vaccinations.” This group is how I first became interested in Classical Homeopathy. The online moderator, Magda Aguila, offers two online classes in classical homeopathy. One is an introduction to homeopathy, and the other is about using classical homeopathy in acute situations requiring first aid.
Here is a description of the group by list owner, Magda Aguila:
“The purpose of this list is to teach its members the foundations of Classical Homeopathy based on Hahnemann’s Advanced Methods as described in the Sixth Edition of The Organon of the Medical Art. The members of the list will not prescribe remedies for any ailments, but we will help owners learn how to look up symptoms and choose the best remedy for ACUTE and FIRST AID situations only. There will be no discussion of herbs or any other medical treatments that are not Homeopathy. This is STRICTLY a Classical Homeopathy learning environment. You will find the list rules in the files section.”
